Track layout designs for industrial tracks based on motive power and rail equipment used. This requires:
- Selecting the proper track curve radius and tangent length

- Specifying grades for earthwork
- Recommending track mobiles capacities
- Recommending track materials suitable for the intended service

- Work with track contractor during construction
- Final inspection of new track construction
